Not a completely horrible performance tonight by the Canucks, but also very frustrating. They’re passing up grade A shooting chances. Also, I really hope Demko go pulled for precautionary reasons. Damn, this team.

It’s surprising the Canucks have as many shots as they do. They keep deferring the puck instead of getting it on net.

I’m sorry but how does Hughes get a penalty, but he’s the one that got high-sticked and had to go to the dressing room? NHL refs are a fucking joke.

So we’re allowing soccer goals in hockey now? WPG got away with two kicked in pucks on the Canucks.

A gutsy effort by the Canucks tonight and get 1 point out of a game against the Avs isn’t terrible. But damn, Lankinen can’t give up a rebound like that. He’s gotta clean up his game.

The NHL needs to hold refs accountable. They need to implement what the NBA has for its refs.

A really scrappy win tonight by the Canucks. Closer than expected for sure.

Too little too late for the Canucks. Also just bad luck management with the goalie pulled. Glad to see injured players coming back, but moves need to be made. Change has to come.

Embarrassing performance by the Canucks. All those shots on net and no finish. Then a complete collapse in the third. Just a frustratingly poor showing tonight. Something needs to change.

The Canucks are having one of those game where they played a good 40 minutes followed by a horrible final 20, but the problem is they couldn’t score in the first 40.
November 6, 2025 at 5:12 AM
Canucks are getting embarrassed. Tyler Bertuzzi has scored the only 2 goals in the game.

@sportsnet650.bsky.social Mark Spector is the biggest homer on the Sportsnet staff.

A really uneven game by the Canucks, but in OT they really pushed for that win. A win is a win.
November 4, 2025 at 4:34 AM
Win or lose tonight, the Canucks are playing really sloppy hockey. An embarrassing 3rd period against Nashville.
November 4, 2025 at 4:05 AM
hearing and reading all day how the Dodgers got lucky and the Blue Jays were the better team. If they were the better team then why did Hoffman get sent out there? Why couldn’t the Jays score with bases loaded in the 9th? Why did Bieber give up the homer on Smith? Why did the Jays bunt in the 11th?

Listening to the Blue Jays Talk podcast post World Series loss. It’s amazing.

Watching Whitecaps vs Dallas. Why does it look like Dallas still has Covid lockdown?

Why do these reporters have to interview the managers while the game is in play? They have a job to do.

That Schenn shootout flub was karma for the goal challenge. Canucks win in a tough game.

I really have no faith in NHL officiating after that “goaltender interference” no goal on the Evander Kane goal. What are we doing here? Are we going back to foot in the crease BS?!?!
October 31, 2025 at 2:33 AM
Canucks need to give Sherwood all the money.
October 31, 2025 at 2:12 AM
Lankinen, close your damn legs.
October 31, 2025 at 12:16 AM
Are you fucking kidding me? 30 seconds in and Boeser goes down on a friendly fire slap shot?!!!!!!

Sportsnet is really showing what it’s like being owned by a company that also owns the sports team you cover.

Canucks just couldn’t finish plays tonight. They moved the puck decently. They defended alright. They had chances. But no one could make that last move to really create a good scoring chance.
