If only I took the time to read the literature

Today I attended a moving Remembrance Sunday event at Manor Gardens in Islington North.
I read “Anthem For Doomed Youth” by Wilfred Owen.
In memory of all those who have been killed in war, we must strive for a world of peace that treats all human life with equal worth.

It was the same throughout #history, Dylan supposed. A people would settle somewhere, become relaxed and confident in their hold upon that place, only for others, more powerful, more plentiful, technologically superior to come along and upend everything they had become.
