@parkermolloy.com has a whole thread, but I'm disappointed in John Lithgow here. The problem is JK Rowling and signing on to any Harry Potter project feels like endorsement of her anti-trans bigotry.
Also, Lithgow is trying to muddy the waters by giving interviews where he pretends that the controversy here is that he's American, not that he's signing off on transphobia.

Ray Stevenson was great in that part, but he sadly passed away. I feel good about this casting. Also, Ahsoka is one of my favorite SW characters, so I really dig this show.
