The government is about to give OpenAI the ability to legally steal if we do not flood this page in the next 12 hours.

OpenAI will have immunity from all lawsuits regarding copyright infringement. All other AI companies will follow.

Do you despise AI? Dissent, retweet. Do something. #furry #art

“Rembrandt, graffiti, and the strange disappearance of ducks” by C.H. Irons has a neat investigation into some mysterious graffiti interspersed with a sharp, personal tale of longing for the restoration of a fractured relationship strangehorizons.com/fiction/remb...

This is the first year my short fiction has been out in the world — and the first year it's eligible for awards.

If you're a Hugo/Nebula/Locus-voting person, I'd be honored if you'd give these stories a read. Links to all can be found on my website: ch-irons.com

Hello, sky app. Now that I've done the fun part of writing (getting stories published), I have to do the not-fun part (shouting about said stories into the void and hoping somebody notices).

Anyway, check out this story in @escapepod.org about fortune tellers, AI and the magic of the Jersey Shore.
Don't worry: I can confirm that all those klaxons are almost certainly celebrating our first story of 2024: "The Last Oracle of Atlantic City" by C. H. Irons. So sit back and experience the story in confidence that nothing is about to explode, except for your level of enjoyment!

Even without the AI chattering in the back of his mind, Baz can tell his customer is upset. It isn’t that hard to figure out as she glares daggers at him over the plastic folding table.
