I finally broke out of my executive dysfunction to get this interview out into the world! K.T. Nguyen is an Anthony and Agatha-award winning author. So grateful she took time out to chat!

In today's "tell me you're an author's kid" moment, the 5yo saw a cluster of black birds and let me know, "Mommy, that's a conspiracy of ravens."

And while I was very proud, I had to explain it was in fact a murder of crows.

I'm doing a read-through of THE SECRET ATTIC right now, and texting the group chat about why I love it. I want to say these are deep texts, but I just sent an all caps missive of "befriend me, birds!" So...I'm a professional.

Really delighted to be hearing from readers who have enjoyed my short story in the Fractured Reveries anthology. That whole collection is wildly good. @carinabissett.bsky.social can curate quality like no other.

Here's an excerpt of my short story "Pennies for Dreams, Pounds for Nightmares" from the FRACTURED REVERIES anthology. It's a feminist retelling of "The Boy Who Set Out to Know Fear" fairy tale. open.substack.com/pub/storiedi... #ssfh

Excited to have my short story "Pennies for Dreams, Pounds for Nightmares" in the FRACTURED REVERIES anthology edited by @carinabissett.bsky.social. My story was inspired by "The Boy Who Set Out to Know Fear" fairy tale...but, you know, make it feminist AF.
