If him and Eito live together Eito is handling most of the housework though. Eito would actively dislike Takumi trying to get in the way of this. It is WHAT HE LIKES TO DO and only he can trust himself to get things clean to his standards. Takumi can't actually clean things while his hands rub
It's important to add that I do not see him as the type of bum who would want his partner/girlfriend to treat him like his mom. He has a strong caretaker drive. He wants to be daddy! He can get really into the stuff he lacks the motivation to do on his own if someone else is in the equation.

One thing I enjoy a lot about the hundred line is how it depicts war and being a soldier in such a surreal dreamlike and kind of.... Stupid? Way that ends up capturing certain things that many war stories do not.

As devastating as "Eito is always going to have a negative response to this, and your presence will pain him" can feel, I think there's a kind of freedom in it for a character like Takumi who so desperately doesn’t want to let people down or hurt them via his own decisions. For better and for worse
