The new twins at Shanghai Zoo, Qian Ran (older girl twin, on the right) and Qian Yi (younger boy twin, on the left) born to panda Qian Jian went outside for the first time and were put in a basket and then on a blankie, to bask in the sun~👶

Xiao Qi Ji's enrichment today was a straw mat with treats in it. I saw the panda psychologist pay him a visit and he went in for some panda therapy. Also, Cheej's neighbor is still Mei Mei, a 7 year old female panda. He does not seem to mind her even though they can see each other over the wall.❤️

Bao Bao (Smithsonian National Zoo) update~I found out today that Pinky and her twins do not have a new yard because they are living at the panda nursery. She is taking care of 1 twin at a time and they exchange the babies every 3 days. Staff said she will come out with her babies early next spring🩷

4pm Cheej today~ had a light extra meal..has slimmed down recently. He sat close to where the visitors were standing and stared directly at us, reminiscent of when he sat outside on the climbing structure at Smithsonian National Zoo. He has been staying indoors at night because thunderstorms 💫

Today I visited Chongqing Zoo and home of 6 year old besties Chong Chong(boy), Xi Xi (girl), and Qing Qing (girl). Chong Chong is training to live alone and the girls will stay together. The 3 still live together, but Chong Chong gets 'me time' throughout the day so no more meals like this.🥰

Cheej has time with the panda paparazzi in the mornings. There are a lot of folks filming him and he seems to know they are there for him so he made sure to sit and pose for the cameras~such a sweetie~ He came to where the visitors were many times and just strolled by gracing us with his presence.🌟

These cuties are Zhi Zhi's new cubbies at the Sun Nursery of Chengdu Panda Base~they were playing outside while mom was taking a break. These babies are at the stage of exploring their yard and learning to climb trees..they are about 3-4 months old.😍
