Information Technology is my thing.. building SaaS on the side but sticking to the 9 to 5 is fine with me. Too much to learn and do, too little time. Family is no. 1.
Why is Azure being a pain? Function works fine when emulated locally but causes issues on the cloud. Finally got logging to work, but still need it to connect to blob storage.

I'm less impressed by AI capabilities than by people's lack of soul and character.

AI does not need to be more human-like when we've become more robot-like every day. This phenomena started way before AI.

Not everyone has to be a CEO or startup founder. There's great talent out there, but these roles are so overrated.

I'm not convinced that current job losses are due to #AI. I believe they're still due to reductions in bloated - overstaffed companies.

BRUTAL JOBS REPORT: Just 22,000 jobs added in August. Unemployment rises to 4.3%. Broader jobless rate jumps to 8.1%. Slowest 4-month growth since 2020. Plus, downward revisions for June and July of -21,000. Yikes.
