Information Technology is my thing.. building SaaS on the side but sticking to the 9 to 5 is fine with me. Too much to learn and do, too little time. Family is no. 1.
Why is Azure being a pain? Function works fine when emulated locally but causes issues on the cloud. Finally got logging to work, but still need it to connect to blob storage.

Weren't we sold the idea of spreading across different availability zones to exactly avoid this kind of problem? #AWS #outage

I'm less impressed by AI capabilities than by people's lack of soul and character.

AI does not need to be more human-like when we've become more robot-like every day. This phenomena started way before AI.

Not everyone has to be a CEO or startup founder. There's great talent out there, but these roles are so overrated.

In a country/society of front-runners, the key to success is to jump out to an early lead.

Not everything is a conversation. Shouldn't we have by default an #AI agent for quick one-sentence questions?

Dapper is not really an ORM, and Entity Framework stinks. Did I get that right?

There are usually opportunities to kill two birds with one stone... but we fail to see them.

I usually judge my work by the amount of effort I put in. This is a mistake, and a roadblock in the important goal of working smarter, not harder.

I'm not convinced that current job losses are due to #AI. I believe they're still due to reductions in bloated - overstaffed companies.

Who took over the BLS? Who do we fire next?
BRUTAL JOBS REPORT: Just 22,000 jobs added in August. Unemployment rises to 4.3%. Broader jobless rate jumps to 8.1%. Slowest 4-month growth since 2020. Plus, downward revisions for June and July of -21,000. Yikes.

I'm back to the drawing board on how to filter out the noise every day and tackle the real workload. Do I block out time and make my calendar the holy grail over todo lists and PM tools?

Most of the promise of #AI lies in automation. However, we've always had the tools to automate. We simply have not been good at leveraging them to streamline broken workflows. #systemsanalyst #informationtechnology
