In time for Halloween! I love getting inspiration from the forest. It’s amazing what you find. I couldn’t shake the idea that something might live in the hollowed out trees, and perhaps didn’t quite hide away before the first light it? It’s arm outstretched to catch the odd crayfish.

Lish is a wonderful writer. Great opportunity to try her for Canadian readers as her books aren’t always in libraries north of the border. (A travesty, I know).

I’ve talked about this on two podcasts now. So many supplements pass themselves off as safe because there is no data. That doesn’t make them safe, it means we haven’t looked. Green tea capsules were one of the 1st offenders but there are many more www.instagram.com/p/DPV8xhgD5K...

More than half of U.S. adults take supplements, hoping to boost metabolism, improve gut health, or even extend their lifespan. But with little regulation and minimal safety testing, some supplements are doing more harm than good. Over the past 25 years, liver injuries and even liver failure linked to supplement use have skyrocketed—often due to toxic ingredients, harmful drug interactions, and megadosing.Learn more about the risks of supplements and how to use them safely at the link in bio.Photograph by Francesco Zerilli, Zerillimedia/Science Photo Library

Today's been kind of a rough day. I learned earlier that my current gig will be ending 10/17. Though the timing is never great it's not really surprising. Was hoping to get a few more months out of it, though.

My flight has now been delayed four times since last night and I think one more delay might mean I miss my five minutes to talk.
Remember me saying my publisher was flying me to San Francisco to talk for five minutes?

Well guess who's in (the very long security) line at the airport?
