Spent a wonderful day with my beautiful wife on her 76th birthday. Nice long walk in the Laguna near our home. 7 year old granddaughter’s soccer game. Many Moons Festival (Asian festival) at Ives Park followed up with dinner at a Japanese restaurant in the Barlow. So much gratitude.

Took a walk in the Laguna near our home this morning. Got my 10,000 steps and strolled through our favorite tunnel of love. So grateful to have acres of beauty just a 10 minute walk from our back door. Celebrated 57 years of marriage last week. Oh what a lucky man I am.

Lawmakers call for more security because of all of the death threats they receive. Fk you. Rid our country of guns and gun worshippers. Imagine yourself being a 6 year old kid afraid of being shot everyday as they get ready for school. Or their parents who live in fear everyday.

Latest inflation data just arrived came in right at the consensus forecast. Headline inflation of 0.2% in the month, running at 2.7% over the year. Core rose 0.3% in July, and 3.1% over the year.
For two years inflation was declining toward the Fed's target. That seems to be over.
