Twins are hiring Derek Shelton as the new manager.
Shelton served as the Twins' bench coach under both Paul Molitor and Rocco Baldelli before leaving after the 2019 season to become the Pirates' manager.

This is not primarily Liam Manning's fault, the performances have in places gotten better, I don't think the players have given up or are low on confidence so much as they just generally aren't good/ready, and Ben Knapper can't be allowed to hire another coach.
But this just ain't working, man.
