Vital research data is disappearing in front of our eyes! ⚠️ Right now, NOAA is being blocked from using satellite data to monitor sea ice loss. 😖
Not knowing how the Arctic is changing will not diminish its impact on our climate, it just makes us more vulnerable to the consequences.

Just about done with my 1st week as a Visiting Scholar at the @wmo-global.bsky.social where I will spend the summer! It has been a whirlwind of new faces and exciting projects to learn about, and I’m looking forward to contributing to the agency’s efforts on remote sensing of water and ecohydrology!
