So I did some math: Hebrew feast days start at sundown the night before the stated day. The Feast of Trumpets in Jerusalem begins at 6:35 pm on Monday the 22nd. Israel is 8 hours ahead of the east coast of the US, so the rapture could happen as early as 9:35 am for CST.

I am attending this year's 4th of July celebration because my grandchildren are too young to understand why I would be missing. But I am serving, not celebrating, and I will be wearing all black in silent protest. I can't celebrate an independence that we are throwing away.
