The problem with opinions like these is that they ignore the historical context for human rights. Rights movements are never popular at first and we really shouldn’t be making judgments on doing the right thing on whether or not they are popular.

My son is off to grade three tomorrow and I’d be lying if I said he was excited about it. We went for a bike ride to a park, got some ice cream and hung out. You could feel the end of summer and, even though I haven’t had to go back to school in some years - I felt it with him.
