My philosophy about making wrestling popular again is that since everyone knows it’s staged, your existing fans are the ones who will suspend their disbelief and meet your performance more than halfway.
The non-viewers won’t, so you need to do something striking or jarring to truly impress them.

Absolutely insane that the people who famously detest communism are now tearing down the separation of powers between US branches of government, centralizing as much power as possible to one position, and making concessions to a communist dictator in Russia.

This is good, and is just a natural adjustment to where society is headed, but banning marijuana from wrestling while allowing prescribed opiates was a decades-long disaster that ruined a bunch of lives.

I can’t say enough good stuff about the structure of Mance vs Gabe. The first 20 minutes felt like 5, and the last 10 felt like 20.
The violence being so fast and furious for so long really earns the lethargic psychology near the end. Also the bell-to-bell being bookended by unsanctioned attacks.
