Also two things are true:
It is deeply unfair that so many people who aren't white men lost their jobs and aren't getting them back and that is shameful for the country and us.
And also: they just got humiliated and it is okay to be glad because next time more people will believe we can best them.

Thanks to everyone who came and helped out at our Mutual Aid Sew Along in conjunction with the @saclgbtcenter.bsky.social We finished more than 80 cooling scarves, and have dozens more that will be very easy to finish.

It’s been a rough week.
I found out Wednesday that I’d lost another friend. I never met Gavin in person, he lived in Australia, but we connected online about 12 years ago, and chatted everyday for years, about food, books, and mostly about arguing on the internet with strangers.

it’s rare to see larger encampments these days (because of how relentless the sweeps are now) but I just drove past a community of 12-15 tents AND they had decorated so cute, red, green & gold garland on every tent w/little balloon clusters 🥲
