The reaction to the Panorama edit has been nothing short of hysterical. Yes the BBC has some impartiality problems. But its biggest isn't the one you think.

New piece from me.

Rosalind Franklin died at 37 of ovarian cancer attributed to radiation exposure from the methods she & her assistant used to photograph a cross-section of the DNA double helix.

Meanwhile, Watson won a Nobel off that work & survived to the ripe old age of 97 by simply: stealing those notes!

The Hercules statue was “disappeared” from Kew Gardens and packed off for the King’s personal pleasure, writes @arusbridger.bsky.social. Why would Charles do so when the royals’ wealth is under some scrutiny?

A statue of Hercules admired by millions has disappeared from Kew Gardens. Why has Charles decided to remove a prime piece of public art?

Always fascinating watching people underestimate the size of London vs other UK ciries.

On an average weekday, more journeys are made on JUST the Elizabeth line than the ENTIRE population of Liverpool.

If the Tube was a city, its average daily passengers would make it the 2nd largest in the UK.

Good to see @dailymail.co.uk @thetimes.com and @telegraphnews.bsky.social all delete their articles - sad the lies went up in the first place
Totally untrue garbage from @thetimes.com & @dailymail.co.uk today - smear dressed up as journalism. Some facts:
- There is no “£900 desk”
- my constituency office has Ikea desks/chairs
- we significantly underspent the new MPs allowance to set up an office
www.thetimes.com/uk/politics/...
Treasury minister leading budget plans spent £900 on desk
Torsten Bell, who is working with Rachel Reeves to fill a £30 billion hole in finances, also used his parliamentary expenses to claim £600 for three chairs

so much discourse about immigration, so little about aging
Loving your country means loving it as it is — not as you wish it were.

Britain is getting old. Instead of fearing it, we should lead the world in how to live longer, better.

Apart from anything else, what does “early” mean here? Is there a …cut-off date?
Besides linking Tylenol in pregnant women to autism, RFK Jr. now says circumcision is part of the reason why kids are autistic.

"Children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism, and it's highly likely because they're given Tylenol. None of this is positive..."

I know statistics are poorly understood and are misused. But facts matter

Between the 1991, 2001, 2011 and 2021 Census *every* ethnic group in the UK has become *less* geographically segregated and *all* groups, majority and minorities, are more likely to interact with people not like them
