Who made Chris Mason judge and jury? Where was this level of political 'reporting' during Boris Johnson's tenure? Oh yes, drowned under the tidal wave of Kuennesberg's flirting and fawning. Political reporting is the BBC Augean stables: desperately in need of the ordure being flushed out!

Genuinely – I am 100% serious now – sack Chris Mason. Sack his editor. Sack whoever allowed this glorified whiny shitfest of "well technically she did everything right, but I'm unhappy that I wasn't told absolutely everything in the budget in advance" to reach the BBC website with that headline.

I don't believe it! They're *still* banging on about it on 10pm news! Is there fuck all else happening in the world?
They've really squeezed every last pip out of this non-story, for the love of god, please #BBC let it go!
Oh FFS, BBC News, give over with this relentless effort to frame Rachel Reeves as misleading people over the Budget. The only people who are pissed are the likes of Chris Mason who's got egg on his face for predicting tax rises that didn't materialise.

They've spent weeks making up what's going to be in the budget to bash the government, they wouldn't shut up about it, now they're going for "how dare you not do what we accused you of because things are a tiny bit better!"

Right-wing media fluffs Farage for years, to the point where he now leads the polls, and then start whining about Starmer being 'obsessed' when he starts telling some long overdue home truths. It's actually hilarious.
