Question: how many Congressional members are there?
How many Senate members?
How many orgs allied with the Democratic Party?
UPDATE — Here are the at least 10 congressional Democrats, 5 Democratic-aligned organizations, and 6 Democratic Senate candidates calling for Chuck Schumer to resign as leader:

People have to sign up for, commit to ACA plans NOW. By Dec 6. The Idiot Eight Dems want people to sign up for a year of health plans they cannot remotely afford, on the hope and prayer they will get subsidies, maybe?
Do you realize how badly this magical concession has SCREWED them?! 😡

We want this #shutdown to end as much as anyone, but giving in to promises of a future vote on ACA subsidies is weak sauce. The House pen won’t even allow it and we can do this shutdown dance again in January. 😩

Senators, don’t make all this pain for nothing. Be bold. HOLD. THE. LINE.

People forget the courage Dems showed to get the ACA passed. This capitulation in the Senate reveals the rot of institutionalism:
This episode of "Democrats in Retreat" bookends the ACA's lifespan. It started courageously with several Dems taking a vote they knew would end their reelection chances, but also knowing it was too important to cave. It's ending with Senators caving to save the filibuster's protective cover.

A leader would not have lost eight colleagues tonight. This happened because you let it happen or because you’ve totally lost control of the caucus in one of the most important moments since you’ve been Democratic leader. Either way, it’s on you. You need to step down. We need someone who can lead.
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

Chuck, you either orchestrated this exact outcome or you have completely failed as a leader and should be replaced.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.
