Given that cats have to do more cognitive labor to understand humans (they aren’t naturally social and reinvent social relations every time), this means cats are, one by one, learning to live in patriarchy.

The thing about the Linehan case is that either the Judge is sympathetic to 'gender critical' ideology or British law thinks it's perfectly acceptable for a 57 year old man to stalk, doxx and physically attack a 17 year old girl.
Both explanations are horrifying.

Bigotry is often treated as some form of innocent natural state when it's actually its own ideology that requires immense work to maintain and spread and thus the work to combat it requires even more work.
Seeing how much of the right-wing on Twitter is just bot farms, kinda lays bare how much hate and hatred is a project that needs to be constantly maintained, a fire that needs to be fed all the time lest it go out for a moment, so much time, effort, and resources to keep people angry and hateful.

Going to be honest, if Turkeys grew to human size, could walk upright, talk, dressed in clothes, became carnivorous AND targeted humans for cooking, I feel that they might put Paxo up our deceased bums pretty low down my list of concerns
