A4. Libraries and librarians are adaptable, always meeting the needs of our communities. I think we'll still be there with literacy and community support at the heart of what we do. In schools, teachers and kids need us! #TLSkyChat #AASLSLM

A3. When I planned a lesson about myths based on the night sky, I created a classroom bubble from plastic and a fan. Add a little star projector and you can have a storytime to remember! #TLSkyChat #AASLSLM

A1. When I was a kid, my mom went to my librarian before summer break and requested books about our vacation destination--a three week national park tour. Those were the only books we had to read! What an amazing librarian I had who curated and loaned all of those to us! #AASLSLM #TLSky

I'm Carolyn, elementary librarian in Northern Virginia. I'm really excited to dust off Deck.blue for tonight's chat! It's been a busy day so I'm glad to sit still for a moment. #AASLSLM #TLSkyChat

In the second half of January I weeded a lot in our 900s. January circulation in the section was 118% of December's and we had fewer January school days.

I weed. I know weeding makes a difference. It's nice to see it in the data.

My big goal today is to watch all of the Netflix fireplaces. So far Fireplace for your Home is the runaway winner, Mid-Century Modern a solid runner up, and The Witcher Fireplace more cozy than I was expecting. Family Pack Fireplace is in progress. #snowday

Today was the first day of recording for a third grade project. We are making a small audiobook library for their grade. After getting them started and settled I looked around the library and every single kid was sitting in a spot reading aloud. It felt like magic. #SchoolLibraries #TLSky

Lots of book love this week! Our hold list is shaping up to be very long. Which is good because of interest but bad because the copies I was able to (personally) purchase are limited. #SchoolLibrary #TLSky

These restroom info share spaces have been a success in my school. Got the idea from our public library that use mini flyers all the time. I share tips, links, and article snapshots. It’s paired with an Article Library I keep in the workroom with longer reads. #TLSky #SchoolLibrary

Have any school librarians made their staff a gift guide of books and games for the month? I made one a few years ago and will put one into the world unless you have a great one that's a better starting point. #TLSky #SchoolLibrary #SchoolLibrarians
