Michigan Botanical Society-SW Chapter had an outing to botanist in a poor conifer swamp, rich conifer swamp, and a bog to look at species composition. It was got as hell, but the rewards were outstanding!

Opportunity to see snow trillium, Trillium nirvale along with other emerging spring ephemerals. Sadly, the area is inundated with lesser celandine, Ficaria verna.

So this is what my nutbag cousin sent me this morning, and prayed that I got #1. Anyone what to do some fact checking on this? Course, she did not get the Covid vaccine and thought I was an atrocity for taking my elderly parents to get there’s in 2020.
