1/2 I won Nepean Highlanders open singles women’s title 08/2024. Despite playing well at NSW Champs 04/25 & winning 6 matches representing Nepean 2022-24 I couldn’t make current rep team which came last inter-region champs. Obviously I wasn’t cis enough to make team!!

Thx Kirsti 100%. The powers that be tried to erase my career, not succeeding, but they did minimise it after finding out. In their eyes being Trans means you “don’t deserve any human rights as you brought it all on yourself.”

100% Kirsti you were a Trans Athlete pre-transition. You were born Trans. It’s intrinsic-inherent, set in stone before birth. Fight it we did, when young, as we didn’t understand it, but as young adults we accepted our true female selves. Dutton/Trump negative comments add to Trans kids confusion.

MAGA’s argument that trans women will not excluded from because they can simply play on the men’s team is analogous to claiming homosexual individuals are not prevented from marrying under statutes preventing SSM because lesbians & gays could marry someone of a different sex.

Outsports Magazine for example don't recognise the sports achievements of trans people prior to us coming out. They published a list of trans people who have excelled in their sports. I see a Div 2 college athlete recognized but a world champ like me gets erased from history.

100% Kirsti. You were still Trans pre-transition. All of us Trans folk were. We knew it, but hid it due to the deep shame our intrinsic selves made us feel due to society’s terrible judgement of Trans peeps.
