The possibility that the British Council could sell-off up to half of its art collection is fairly disastrous from so many different angles
That virtually nobody is reacting to this news speaks to ingrained distrust/hatred for the art & culture that belongs to everybody

No doubt Arts Council England to be subsumed within the new 'Soft Power Council'...
Great to be at the launch of the Soft Power Council tonight with David Lammy and Lisa Nandy. I’m not sure I’d have called the SPC the SPC but it is great that the Government understands the value that British creative industries, heritage, universities & research have
