Kintsugi is a Japanese art of repairing broken pottery and other ceramics using lacquer and powdered gold, silver, or platinum. Kintsugi translates to "joining with gold". Instead of hiding cracks, kintsugi highlights them with gold to tell the story of the object, finding beauty in damage.

I met someone last night who said that she’s “pro-life” in that she doesn’t believe in elective abortions bc of her religion. But she also said she doesn’t think the government should legislate on abortion. She votes pro-choice bc she knows not everyone has the same religious beliefs. Respect.
