Some thoughts about Build-a-Bot on a topic I know little about.
I've had some thoughts that I might not be doing enough to make a variety of options for both ends of the gender spectrum. I try to make a variety of forms and silhouettes, but my style is inherantly boxy and stocky. So it does tend to come off as masculine, even if I don't intend it or intend it to be feminine (even though every model will have an unbelievably snatched waist, literally just the spine down there). On top of that, I do know there is sizable interest in robots that are explicitly not very human, and robots that are very human. There's not really a clear solution, not that I see. It seems to be more of a "wait and see what people want" sort of deal.

I've been busy over holiday break!

I've reworked the page navigation with a drop down menu, so you can skip around to different parts easily.

Also, I've added an alternate, more advanced proportion control system. So you can modify limb thickness, length, and other stature parts independently!

I've been busy over holiday break!

Anyone familiar with UniVRM and how it handles springbones?

Okay, it looks like spring bones won't happen, not yet. I cannot, for the life of me, find a way to set the script up during runtime. And the VRM script is very picky; if any of the spring bones aren't in the hierarchy at export, then it fails. Even if the script is disabled.

Okay, I've basically finished converting the method used for adjusting parts. From the UI sliders seen on the arms, to the gnomen seen on the chest here.

This frees up the screen, allows parts to be moved individually, allows rotation, and eliminated useless bones after export.
