Well obviously, male puberty gives a person an unfair advantage at political conferences.

Anyway, now that labour have gone full mask off, it's not about safety or equality they just don't believe trans women are women, can we stop all efforts of giving them the benefit of the doubt?
Trans women to be barred from main Labour women’s conference in 2026

So I just learned about solar cycles, not necessarily that the sun has cycles but that we have been numbering them - we are currently in "Solar cycle 25" which started in 2019 and will end around 2030.

An interesting way to measure time, I'm almost 4 cycles old, and most only get 7

Saw a video of a guy doing a job interview with an AI interviewer, he said he used AI to prepare for the job interview and the AI agent giving the interview berated him for being inauthentic

What the fuck is this planet man

Season 17 of Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia is bad, probably their first truly bad season.

But episode 7 "the gang gets ready for prime time" is probably one of the funniest episodes they've done in ages.

So Labour did put being able to make unfair dismissal claims a day one right in their manifesto - and have since dropped that

And their manifesto *didn't* make any mention of getting rid of trial by juries, a pretty key part of our judicial system, and they are doing that.

Good job 👍

The results, btw. Pretty disheartening tbh given the (frankly) mild nature of the explicit trans liberation statement they wished to make

I've been shitting on McDonald's a lot recently but just for the sake of balance - a fresh batch of McDonald's fries, that came from fresh oil, and salted properly? Almost good enough to forgive their many sins

Sometimes I wonder if people know less about politics than they did 30 years ago (like knowing where to put a given policy on the political spectrum) or if it's just a matter of fact that people 30 years ago just had fewer avenues to communicate their ignorance

Dear scratchcard makers - I would rather lose than "win" the amount I paid for the scratchcard. That is not a win that is a refund

They did it, they actually made the worst political party ever. It is basically just two people and it still doesn't function.

Your Party's 'historic' founding conference has descended into chaos on day on as one of its co-founders stages a boycott over claims of a "purge".

I recently learned that the Demon Slayer film, Infinity Castle, broke a handful of impressive records at the box office. I hadn't seen any of the preceding TV show though, and the name/setting/plot seemed generic at first glance so I dismissed it

What a fool I was. This show is fucking incredible

I'm totally fine with bad things happening to bad people, and I'm tired of pretending otherwise.

The great thing about Labour continuing to tokyo-drift rightwards is that in only a few short years people will be referring to the current CONSERVATIVE-CREATED asylum and immigration policies and call them "woke"

Labour are just Reform now btw, don't know if anyone missed this

Looking forward to them chanting "only labour can stop reform", as if that has any meaning when they do EVERYTHING in their power to appeal to their voters and enact their policies

The two big demonstrable actions they've taken in 6 months is

- a policy to restrict what flags can be flown
- spending £75k putting up a bunch of new flags

Let's be super real here, we are fucked, and it's the working class who are fucking us. Class solidarity can choke on a St George's cross
How are Reform UK's East Midlands councils doing six months in?
The party said people had voted for change in May - but has it been delivered?

November 15, 2025 at 2:02 PM
I look forward to this having three primary outcomes

1. Labour gets bogged down arguing this in courts/parliament etc
2. It has little to no impact on their approval rating with Tory/reform voters
3. It more significantly impacts their rating with centre/left voters

Net loss Labour

Where I live has an intercom and frankly its upsetting how many people don't know that when I say "hello?" that's your cue to speak and explain why I should let you in. Saying nothing? Just saying "hello?" Back And then not responding to anything else? Enjoy being outside

Make it make sense

"Landlords are mostly good, with only a few bag eggs, why make life difficult for all of them for the sake of a few?"

But also

"If you don't let landlords do what they like many will sell up and they'll spend the next 6 months making families homeless or raising rents"

Poppy madness is upon us! Nothing quite says "remember they fought for your freedom!" Than bullying anyone who doesn't *voluntarily* wrap themselves in whatever national symbol is currently in vogue

Last week it was the English flag, now it's an opium flower, who knows what's next?
