Can't stop thinking about the Anthony Fantano-ass ICE agent who dropped his gun and then pointed it at bystanders. Really replicating the Nazis' oaf-little weiner dichotomy

This is the type of campaign you run to beat guys like Trump and the absolute boobs in the DNC are like “no, you have to say that you are gonna give a 1.5% tax break on people opening cold pressed juice stores in disadvantaged communities”
Good morning! I'm in Uganda to visit family and friends.

But depending on your perspective, don't worry or I'm sorry: I'll be back by the end of the month.

See you soon, NYC.

I've been writing about CPD tactical teams for over a year now because of the terror they inflict upon Chicago's south and west sides.

The way these agents jumped out of their cars at people—same cop behavior. Sending these teams deeper into urban communities will get people killed.

We're honored to be a Scripps Howard Journalism Awards finalist for "The Year After a Denied Abortion," our story about a woman forced to continue a life-threatening pregnancy following Tennessee's abortion ban.

Read the story (published Feb. 2024):
She Was Denied an Abortion After Roe Fell. This Is a Year in Her Family’s Life.
Tennessee law prohibits women from having abortions in nearly all circumstances. But once the babies are here, the state provides little help. We followed one family as they struggled to make it.

What a great think piece on the conservative obsession with suffering and conflict — especially in light of the “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” logic behind the new tariffs.
I wrote about tariffs and the longstanding conservative desire for conflict and strife, even when it doesn't seem to make any sense.
