Dear #MLS.

I've seen hockey games with less bodychecking, holding, tripping, etc.

Sincerely,

A Canadian sports fan.

So I turned on the Bears-Eagles game and saw the Bears are 8-3. I was surprised at such a record (weren't they going to be bad?), so I then quickly checked the NFC North standings.

Those other teams must be feeling pretty crappy to be behind those Bears. Wouldn't you say, @hansen9j.bsky.social?

I'm not sure when the US Thanksgiving became an opportunity for a Royal Rumble to break out, but if you're an American finding yourself in this situation, I hope you at least draw a high number.

Then you can drink more.

Hey @hansen9j.bsky.social, think we can retroactively apply this result to last week's Montreal-Saskatchewan game?

I partly grew up in Alberta (12 years). If the Trans term/reality had been widely known then, I have little doubt the bigotry/homophobia would have been more frightening & violent than now.

Even today, the province never disappoints me because I always expect the worst.

It's like Canada's version of Rocky III. The (Rocky) Boss has been at the top, but now the big new baddy, Split (Clubber Lang) Lip, is moving into the territory & wants the title.

Who will emerge on top? Will it produce a top 10 theme song? Tune in to find out! #BearsIII

So let's see. Carney released his latest projects list, ticking off the usual candidates, Epstein revealed all sorts of slimeballs, both past & present, from beyond the grave, yet again, & the AL MVP has produced CONTROVERSY!

So is anybody happy today? No? Okay, at least everyone's consistent.

This should be a litmus test for every world leader who visits Canada (assuming they're not allergic). Can they hang with Carney among kittens? 😂

In case you needed the sight and sound of a good Trump burn today @techrstlamunus.bsky.social
PM Mark Carney was talking about attracting foreign investment to Canada and listed reasons Canada is a good place to invest. A reporter pointed out that the U.S. has those things, too. What sets Canada apart?

PM Carney: "Well, we have rule of law."

Tonight's first timer variation on a classic? Stir-fried lobster meat with green onions (couldn't find scallion), peppers & mushrooms with lots of garlic & ginger, soy & oyster sauces, & a touch of poke bowl spice.

In spite of the lack of fresh lobster, what say you @techrstlamunus.bsky.social ?
