Fellow Canucks, while our election is over, ensuring our MPs hold up their end of the bargain is ongoing. If you did not vote for the winner in your riding, I urge you to check this link every day so you can hold them accountable to ALL people they represent: www.ourcommons.ca/DocumentView...

Interesting things of note:
1. The article says they asked the candidates of a different riding but it was definately the SOUTH ISLAND peeps
2. Why isn’t the Conservative candidate responding? Too busy avoiding questions and all-candidate debates?

I’ve been here. It’s amazing. Read the article for the link to vote to keep this amazing space viable.
It's an essential link to Victoria's history you've likely never seen, and you've got to look closely to find 1713 1/2 Government St. Once you've found it, your journey to Canada's oldest Chinese temple has just begun.

The witches in MacBeth were based on the ladies who were tried for witchcraft to stop King James. They failed. But I’m sure, with the advances we have today, we could successfully take out an uprising regime… anyone have room in a coven for one more?

I stole this from a smarter-than-I friend:

By the way, Americans.
Within days, Justin Trudeau will no longer be the Prime Minister of Canada.
This process has been underway for some time. A new PM will be sworn in very soon.
Donald Trump will somehow try to take credit for this. Don’t be fooled.

If your workplace doesn’t treat you with respect and allows inappropriate shenanigans, it’s part of the culture. It can be fixed but has to be top-down. Better leadership can be taught - and I can teach it. As ex-army, nothing much shocks me. I speak plainly and that shocks them.

I’m one of the earliest in GenX. I remember pre-NAFTA when we dreamed about US goods being available & affordable in 🇨🇦. We managed then, we’ll manage even better now. The choices we have with Canadian made goods is exponentially more than then, so this ‘trade war’ won’t go the way the 🍊🤡💩 expects.

Why does the word ‘feedback’ send terror into our hearts? Try ‘feed forward’ instead. It addresses the task and not the person. Interested? Ask me what you’d like to be better at and I’ll give you suggestions. You say thank you. The end. Super easy and no ‘shoulding’.
