How does HPV turn from a silent infection into cervical cancer?

New research by @konstanze1.bsky.social shows that gene deregulation—especially of E6 & E7—drives cancer risk in the cervix’s transformation zone.

The study tackles the problematic question of why #transplant patients responded so poorly to the #COVID #vaccine. While most people had great antibodies from a single dose, only half of patients responded after three!

A new study published in @nature.com by Dr Jie Yang of @roychoudhurilab.bsky.social has uncovered a novel mechanism by which aspirin inhibits cancer metastasis by strengthening the body’s immune response.
