It reads: With a good measure of whining, groaning, grumbling, and grunting, Crowley twisted his limbs and made a show of struggling to get his costume on. “Why couldn't we just miracle these? Why are we meant to be out in public trying these on?” He whined. “Because it's part of the fun. We have a four year old daughter who has been talking about this since the Summer. Speaking of four year olds, ours is much better behaved than the ancient demon, whose age is immeasurable, standing here in a fit of pique over a silly costume. Now move your arms so I can help you with that zipper.” Crowley let out a long sigh and let Aziraphale help him. “Personally, I would have been plenty happy to wear cat ears and call it a day,” Aziraphale said, zipping Crowley’s costume with a flourish and booping him on the nose. Crowley laughed loud enough to be heard through the rest of the store. “You? You would have been happy with just a pair of cat ears? The one and only Aziraphale would have happily skipped out on a chance to get all decked out in costume for Halloween? You've been giddy about Halloween and dressing us up since Tartan was brand new. There’s nowhere in any universe where you would be happy in a simple pair of cat ears, Angel.”

An excerpt from a Good Omens fanfic called "Ineffable Creatures of the Night." It reads: ...landing the role of Magenta. Second, a small accident on the way home from the final rehearsal left the production without two members of the cast for this night; Eddie and The Narrator. Thankfully, an understudy was ready to take on the role of Eddie. They’d had the Narrator ready to go, but the person backed out last minute due to cold feet. An anxious Cami cried on a video call with Crowley that morning, wondering if the show was doomed. Crowley soothed their nerves. A solution popped up as there was someone he knew who was delightfully fussy, good with public speaking, and would be more than happy to read from a book for a few short moments during the production. He was also, Crowley noted, incredibly hot. Aziraphale entered the communal dressing area and clapped his hands together. “Oh Cami! You look divine. That maid uniform is absolutely heavenly. You are - oh what is the word you young ones have been saying a lot recently? Ah yes, you are rather snatched, my dear friend.”

It reads: The family went out their kitchen door into the garden where they walked through the rows of Crowley’s proud flowers, herbs, and vegetable beds, through their tiny grove of apple trees, and onto a well-worn trail that led away from their property, which would eventually lead them to one of their favourite stargazing spots. The night air was deliciously comfortable, just warm enough with an edge of mid-Summer coolness. The fragrance of various herbs and flowers, especially freesia, greeted them on their way to the trail. The distinct churring of nightjars could be heard off in the distance towards the edge of the heath where they were headed. Above them, the sky was a blanket of stars, with the spectacular view of dense star clusters forming the Milky Way. As they embarked on the path on the other side of their apple grove, Crowley stopped to point out three very bright stars. He knelt down and put his arm around Tartan. “There, Bug. Do you see those three bright stars?” He pointed and traced a triangle into the air. “Do you remember what this is called?” Tartan pointed up and counted the three stars. “One, two, three. The, um, S-sum-Summer, um…triangle! The Summer Triangle, Daddy?” “Yes! You are very bright!” Crowley exclaimed. “Our bright little star,” Aziraphale said softly. “I’ll tell you their names.” He pointed once again to each star. “That’s Vega, and then Deneb and right there is Altair.” He smiled as Tartan followed along and repeated the names to their baby doll, Onion.

It has only been in the last decade that I allowed myself to lean on my community to get help and seek out professional therapeutic support. Eventually I learned about [redacted] from a friend who was a [redacted] Michigan and my case manager encouraged me to enroll in a program to become one. I debated this idea for a long time, but a traumatic event in 2023 left me with the unwavering support of my closest friends who reminded me of who I am. That coupled with, oddly enough inspiration found in the show Good Omens, gave me the spark needed to finally make the move to become a [redacted. ] As a [redacted] I visit people in their homes and communities. I encourage them to achieve their goals and find their voices to advocate for themselves and gain independence. I believe that validating their experiences can change or save lives I collaborate with the mental health care team including case managers, therapist, psychiatrist, and socialworkers to help my peers maximize their care. My background as a retired certified veterinary technician, belly dance instructor, doula, and writer informs my work. Self care is crucial in my role. I enjoy engaging with the good omen's fandom and spending time outdoors and at museums with my children. I am also fortunate to have a knowledgeable supervisor whom I can easily reach out to for support.
