DISGUSTING! DoorDash straight-up STOLE from its own drivers—hardworking people just trying to make ends meet! And now they’re throwing crumbs after YEARS of wage theft? They should be paying TRIPLE! Corporate greed at its worst, and they ONLY stopped because they got CAUGHT!

Without federal agencies and oversight, American businesses are more than happy to steal and abuse their employees and contractors.

This is why Federal Agencies must exist.

It is a naive ignorant libertarian fool who thinks business should “self police” or “self-regulate”.

Charles Koch is such.

Conservatives Don't care because it's never been about saving money. You never hear them complain about the Pentagon audits. They just want to destroy social services and privatize the public good.

Every disabled/immunocompromised person: "Oh. It's like when y'all stopped masking in 2021 and left us for dead because you wanted to eat inside Applebees."

Disabled characters deserve to be featured as primary characters in film/TV/books/games, AND without their entire plot revolving around “curing” them.

"MIDDLE CLASS" FOLKS: Every last word of this. Boycott it all. Slow TF down. Preserve your quality of life and show solidarity with working AND poor people already. You're 3 bad months or less away from homelessness and 3 good months won't make you rich. Think hard about who are your people.

I'm always telling my therapists that living with disability is like being re-traumatized every day. we can't just work through it and move on because it is still happening continuously.

To be disabled is almost always to be traumatized. It’s living in a body that can’t keep you safe. It’s doctors dismissing you. It’s family and friends abandoning you. It’s living in a society that doesn’t see your value. It’s constantly having to prove your life is worth living.
