For those evacuating with pets in LA: Hilton’s Homewood Suites, Home2 Suites, Embassy Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton, Tru and Canopy brands are all 100% pet friendly. Even cats! And a lot of hotels are waiving pet fees atm. Good on u Hilton! Pun intended: that’s hot.

I never buy bead supplies from Amazon but the way I just found the wholesaler that one of the bead supply shops I buy materials from has a whole spool of rhinestone chain for a literal fraction of the price the bead supply shop charges…

Apple has opted iOS and MacOS users into an AI photo scanning feature which tries to extract landmarks from your photos called Enhanced Visual Search by default with little notice.

i don't think people understand how they come off, but generally speaking i wouldn't say "i don't like/i'm not a fan of [x] but" in your comments. if someone wrote something, they probably like it. coming into the comments and lowkey trashing it just never feels good.

PSA for cat owners in the US: cats have been contracting H5N1 (bird flu). They are very susceptible to it and the fatality rate for cats is 67%. To avoid it:
-keep your cats indoors. They can catch it from infected birds and mice.
-do not feed them raw dairy

I think part of the reason I struggle with making friends as a sober person is that everyone is constantly smoking and drinking and they don’t know how to have fun (or generally exist) without being intoxicated
