Great work from Jess and her team! Ensuring that Landlords are delivering the homes people deserve!
Over 6000 people in some of our lowest-income areas saw improvements to their rented properties and were signposted to further welfare support. 85% of properties inspected were found to be non-compliant - proving how essential these schemes are.

The government announced this week that it has tripled emergency funding for councils to tackle rough sleeping and emergency homelessness - and Leeds will receive £626,206.

This is very welcome, to strengthen our service and the strong partnerships that we have in Leeds delivering this support.

Me and Harry had a really great time on Thursday evening at the 2nd Calverley Scout Group Christingle night held at St. Wilfrid's, Calverley Parish Church.

It was great to learn about the symbolism of the initiative and Harry enjoyed making his Christingle.

Proud for my first post to be recognising the excellent achievements of @jesslennox.bsky.social and all the officers that have contributed to @leedscitycouncil.bsky.social and their work on improving our housing offer. Everyone deserves a good quality home and I’m please to see Leeds leading the way
Here at #UKHA2024 representing LCC - we're very proud of the recognition we've already received in two categories, for the work we do as a large social urban landlord, and in transforming our communities and building new council homes 🏡

More spades in the ground for new council housing - building much-needed good, warm, efficient and spacious homes for individuals and families. We're immensely proud of what we have been able to deliver for our communities - and we'll keep going.
