Im a bit frustrated with the lack of attention to data quality or improving data quality in talks about lack of trust of AI by clinicians. So many talks about the need for AI in healthcare but little on the need for better data quality. Seems like the ultimate garbage in garbage out situation.

Health IT heavy weights talking about how messy healthcare data seems to directly highlight some big public health challenges. If 90% of your time is spent cleaning the data in a low resource environment, that is an even bigger problem, especially across many healthcare data sources. #ASTP2024
