Finally have an update on our IVF journey. Insurance has finally approved a full cycle. Unfortunately the clinic doesn’t have any egg retrieval openings until mid July so we still have some waiting to do

My employer is about it be in the “find out” stage of “fuck around and find out”. I was promised a certain % increase in my salary for next fiscal year and it was not reflected in my new contract. I now have 3 interviews scheduled for next week 🤷🏻♀️

Husband was away and I was just ignoring the 6 inches of snow until he got home today but my neighbor noticed and came to plow me out 🎉 thank god my husband is social and makes friends with everyone around us lmao

Just made our appointment for the initial IVF consult and verified with my insurance that it’s fully covered once we hit our deductible 🎉

Knowing that we’re in the “keeping him comfortable” phase of my cat’s life is really heartbreaking. He most likely has a tumor but we’d need to sedate him for testing to confirm and it’s just too risky at his age. I’m grateful that I’ve had him for almost 14 years but fuck I’m not ready for this
