If this is true, it's a dark omen for what's to come in the next administration. Putting the architect of #ScheduleF in charge of the Office of Management and Budget is incredibly dangerous to our civil service and to those across the country who rely on its services.
Trump expected to tap Schedule F architect promising widespread federal layoffs to head OMB
Russ Vought previously held the job and now says he wants federal workers to be "viewed as the villains."

Like so many plans put forth by the next administration, many of the Department of Government Efficiency's proposals are about rewarding friends and punishing enemies, and weaponizing the government against communities who need its services most.

Surprise, surprise: the F-35 still has big problems
A classified report revealed many problems with the F-35, including guns that don’t shoot straight. Nonetheless, the Pentagon went ahead and approved full rate production of the warplane www.pogo.org/analysis/f-3...
F-35 Testing Report Reveals Problems with Production Decisions

This would be such a troubling expansion of presidential power and could be a huge fight over the next few years. If only Congress had strengthened the law after Trump violated the Impoundment Control Act in his first term…
Trump's (almost certain) next budget chief: "The Constitutional principle is certainly power of the purse means that Congress gets to set the *ceiling* ...You weren't ever meant to be forced to spend it"

Translation: Trump WH believes they have the authority to stop spending programs *w/o* Congress
