Just read Nine Princes in Amber. In someways totally cornball and definitely not pc, but on the other hand has some great plot devices. Fun book and not Sanderson (yes i went there) It still stands up after 55 years.

My version of it is: DJT does requires the least effort: if all he has to do is show up and/or talk to people or sign something it can happen. If it impacts his golf, tv or his cheeseburders then its a no go.
As it's come up a couple of times recently: The concept of "Trump's Razor" ("With Donald Trump, the correct answer for why he's done something is usually the stupidest") was proposed years ago by @joshtpm.bsky.social, and I was the one to give it a title. Josh was the inventor, I was the marketing.
