They recently put out a call for an expert working group (I applied!) and I’m hopeful maybe they’ll start to fix this. But the speed at which they’re pushing the ChatControl/CSAM regs makes it unlikely that they’ll wait to received feedback from those groups; maybe leadership doesn’t care.

It seems pretty obvious to me that western governments are looking at China and other countries with monitored/sealed Internet and slowly putting the pieces in place to do the same thing for their own Internets.

It's great to be finally able to read two-column papers, without messing up figures, etc.! Comparison:
