Regardless of how one views divinity, including an atheist view, humanity exists in ourselves and all around us. True madness is denying that we or others exist.
The lessons [shared memories & hard won understanding] handed down to us spell out what is needed for the best chances at "life, liberty..

Just wondering. Per news report, some ICE agents used ChatGBT to write their after-incident reports. Do people arrested by those agents have a right to call ChatGBT into court to testify for lawsuits? to be questioned by defense their defense lawyers if they face charges?
Has anybody done that?

The reason the top 10% of income earners pay more than half of all tax revenue is NOT because they are taxed more than ever.

Their tax rate has been cut FIVE times in the last 25 years.

They are paying more because their INCOME has increased astronomically, where the income of the bottom half has

What do these corporations have in common?

Netflix
Ford
Tesla
T-Mobile
Duke Energy
DISH Network
Metlife
Dominion Energy
United States Steel

In recent years, they all paid their execs more than they paid in taxes.

This is what a corporate-rigged system looks like.

This is not a peace plan. It is a proposal that weakens Ukraine and divides America from Europe, preparing the way for a larger war in the future. In the meantime, it benefits unnamed Russian and American investors, at the expense of everyone else.

This case is one of many that illustrate the madness and horror of Trump's maniacal anti-immigration campaing that ruins lives by the thousands.
In this case, the victim is an American citizen who engaged in lawful protest and was shot 5 times. Miraculously, she lived.

The basic truths that escape “both sides.”
Since January 2023, the New York Times has cited Rep. Ralph Norman, R-SC, in 78 stories. None mentioned that Norman secretly urged the Trump White House in 2021 to declare martial law – in effect, a military-backed coup. Norman wasn’t charged, but the NYT gave him a “pardon” anyway.

The people who presently run Texas are afraid of letting their own people vote. Illegal says the court — but let’s add shameful and cowardly.
“Substantial evidence shows that Texas racially gerrymandered the 2025 Map."

In a bombshell decision on Tuesday, a federal court in Texas blocked a new congressional map that was created after President Trump demanded that the state redraw district lines to hand Republicans five new seats.

We should get serious about sanctions. Russian missiles that kill Ukrainian civilians contain parts made in the West. And this repeated mass murder of civilians by Moscow should bring total boycotts on Russian gas and oil. And the Ukrainians should get everything they need to defend themselves
