This is about women and children as objects and tools and how abuse of them is not just tolerated and ignored but facilitated and celebrated.

Republicans took an 8-week paid vacation—then came back to screw working people.

They voted against feeding hungry kids & lowering healthcare costs. But don’t worry—they voted in favor of Trump’s $40B Argentina bailout.

Corrupt. Cruel. Cowardly.

If you’re constantly pissed at:
Schumer
Jeffries
Garland
And not pissed at Mitch McConnell who had Trump in his sights and let him run off, you got issues.

The House will vote yes.

The Senate will possibly vote yes.

Trump will veto.

The positives? Well, we get to see, on the record, who wants to protect pedophiles, and who doesn't.

Rep. Adelita Grijalva said two victims of Epstein's abuse were in the gallery to watch her be sworn in: Elizabeth Stein and Jessica Michaels.

"Justice cannot wait another day," she said, referencing the Epstein files discharge petition.

On Veterans Day, we honor those who put service before self.

To every veteran and their families: Thank you for your courage and sacrifice. Our nation is stronger and safer because of you.

Why does Gus demand so many scritches. Wrong answers only.

I’m shaming Gus. He is a messy eater. Even messier drinker. None of my pets have been this bad.

The house smells so good right now. Currently burbling away on the stove top are wannabe Louisiana red beans. Andouille sausage has been cooked. Fat was used to cook the mirepoix (onion, celery, green pepper). Rice is on the back burner.

Snort. On the phone with the college kid. He is complaining about it being 45 today where he’s at. Same as us but we also have rain. He does not like the fact he is putting sweats on.

Thread.
I absolutely don't want Senate Dems to cave, but some key things:

1. If they do, this gets kicked back over to the House, which has to vote on it again since it would differ from their own version...which I think only runs thru 11/21?

2. That presumably means having to swear in Grjalva.

Angry cleaned the kitchen like we’re getting ready for a PCS move. Alas, the person who pissed me off is oblivious to his actions.

Don’t tell me to have a conversation. It will go nowhere because this person always thinks they’re right.

Hood. They over roast their beans and prices are unreal.
BREAKING: After months of stonewalling by Starbucks, unionized baristas just voted 92% to authorize a ULP strike unless Starbucks finalizes fair contracts & stops union busting.

If forced, our baristas will strike in dozens of cities on November 13 – the company's busiest sales day of the year.

Union members say they are ready to strike on the chain's Red Cup Day if Starbucks doesn't finalize a contract with their union by then.

It’s the time of year I sit cross cross applesauce while I telework. Why? To help keep my feet warm. The only problem is when I need to stand. Bit wonky for the first couple of steps.

It’s that time of year again for Crav’n peppermint double stuff cookies. We learned of this delicacy after moving to MA. We also curse this delicacy because of how delicious they are. Yes, I need to stock up for the college kid and the college graduate. Just not today.

Zohran Mamdani won young men 18-29 by 40 points.

40!

And he did so by standing FOR economic justice, FOR Trans rights, FOR immigrant rights, FOR labor rights, FOR Palestinian rights, & FOR diversity—& still unapologetically dunking on Trump.

He is anti-MAGA w/o throwing people under the bus.
