I've found that double-exposing film is actually a great hack for saving money in an already expensive hobby. I can take twice as many pictures with the same amount of film!

Photography fact: the "noise" you see when you use high ISOs in dark settings isn't noise, it's ghosts. You aren't changing the signal:noise ratio when increasing ISO, you're changing the signal:ghost ratio. Take a photo with high enough ISO and you might even be able to make out faces in the dark..

Ok so what are the ethics of befriending urban/suburban crows and ravens? My gut says to keep wild animals wild but I've heard people say that they're already so synanthropic that it doesn't really make a difference

Am I the only one who thinks it's odd that most tv news chyrons don't include the date? Like sometimes it'll include the time of day but never the actual date?? It seems like a very glaring omission

How the hell do people drive without blindspot mirrors. I'm driving a rental car and it feels genuinely unsafe how hard it is to tell if I'm going to run into another car if I try to merge

I thought the worst thing about it was the ridiculous hyper-airbrushed texture we’ve come to expect from this nonsense technology and then I saw the actual full ad and apparently this fake woman made of environmental ruin and stolen art is about eight feet tall

Do you think Mike Collins ever held any resentment over being the one guy on Apollo 11 that didn't get to walk on the moon? I would be sooooo pissed if that were me. After we got back to earth I probably couldn't even look at Neil and Buzz without steam coming out of my ears

There's something odd imo about the concept of priests/rabbis/imams etc retiring. Like you're dedicating your life to God and telling people how important he is and then your like "alright well I'm out, y'all have fun with that tho"?? It just doesn't sit right with me

Watching How to Get Away with Murder and this show has some of the most atrocious character pairings I've EVER seen in a show 😭 I can't tell whether they picked intentionally bad pairing or just threw darts at a board to see who hooks up 😭

Someone should invent a "pop" slider for photo editing software where if you increase the slider it makes the photo "pop" more
