There’s a great moment in “Succession” when Logan Roy is with a group of family and retainers and he gets a call from the President. And he just sits there, with a very thin smile, making the President wait, until he finally deigns to pick up the call.
This, in HCR this a.m. re the Trump/Putin phone call yesterday, made me gasp: “when the phone call was scheduled, Putin was on stage at an event. When his interviewer asked if he needed to go because he would be late for the call, Putin dismissed the question and laughter broke out”
