I say this as a conservative who’s always yelled about the debt: Trump isn’t freezing all federal financial assistance out of concern for the debt. These programs are barely pennies in the overall budget. Trump is doing it cuz he’s at war with gov employees. Trump doesn’t care if people in need die.
