Two for one! I was tracking the sandpiper in my viewfinder as it worked its way along the muddy banks of the river, snapping a few shots here and there, and never saw the soft shell turtle it passed until the photos were on my computer 😆

Noted a small patch of intense color where the sun was going down, turned back to my computer. Glanced out again and WOW! Grabbed my camera, threw open the window and snapped photos while it spread for about 5 minutes or so, then it dissipated about as quickly as it had formed, poof! 😃
