10 months ago I stopped half-marathon training to rest a painful ankle
8 months ago I did a short test run and the pain exploded
6 months ago an MRI showed a torn ankle tendon
4 months ago I had surgery
3 months ago I started PT
And now I went for my first run/walk! Overjoyed and grateful.

What’s your stress level? Mine is, “While falling asleep plan what you’d put in your go bag if you were being bombed like Gaza, make a mental note to stock up on iodine tablets for the inevitable cholera epidemic due to EPA rollbacks, and wonder if you’re up to date with your measles vaccine.”
