I just heard that the Kigali in '28 bid committee couldn't get visas to come to WorldCon in Seattle, but that @brisbanein28.bsky.social gave their presentation.

After some consultation, we've changed the planned dates for Worldcon 2028 in Brisbane to be the weekend after the total solar eclipse that will be passing through Australia.
Our planned dates are now Thursday 27 to Monday 31 July, 2028!

While Brisbane in 28 is still 4 years away, we are trying to make sure we have policies in place well ahead of when we need them.
To that end, our current Covid policy is:
* Mandatory masking in all con spaces
* Free masks for those who need them
* Individual exemptions to those who require it
