Local elections may mean more now than ever....although they have always been very important. Hopefully the voters in town agree and elect me to represent them for four more years on our school board.

I was at Jewel yesterday and my favorite employee, Liz, was bagging. The checker was telling her, in jest, to not do St. Patrick's day because it was too far away. So Liz was quiet until I walked past and she said, under her breath, "have a happy St Patrick's day". Then I got home and found this.

Rough few days here as I bricked my son's motherboard on his first gaming PC he bought himself. I was trying to turn on PTT in the bios and I guess GigaByte doesn't like that sometimes and dies. New motherboard showed up, I threw it in, and good as new so far.

I stopped reading for fun a while ago. Not for one reason but probably many. I was just prescribed reading glasses and started reading some Stephen King books I purchased but never read (I have a collection of his work). It was like reuniting with an old friend, never missed a beat.

I'm attending a state school board conference this weekend and they already have sessions about what is going to happen to federal funding after the federal elections.
So many questions have to be answered with "we just don't know at this point."

I have very few followers here as of now but remember, if you live in a state that has local elections in 2025, be sure to pay attention and vote. These positions could be critical in the coming years.
