A centrally coordinated, low-cost mentorship program is feasible and of high value. Fab research from @jiajennyliu.bsky.social and team- a 25% reduction in burnout! Although, I wish the baseline weren't so high 💔.

Presenting on the Second Victim Syndrome at the ASGBI EGS symposium this morning in Manchester - important topic that requires more research in how to prepare surgical trainees to face complications. Lookout for the ASSIST study coming soon….
